Dear Ashley, Ingrid,

Last week Ricky had a couple of meetings, one of which was with a team that does soil mechanics analysis. Their conclusion was that our home is safe to live in, and likely will not lose any more soil, even as it continues to rain.

Good news!

We will, of course, have to reorganise storage, and sort through some of the boxes. There is no longer a place for Ricky´s tools, and other items we had stored under the roof in the back yard. We are thankful to have a house that is structurally safe, however!

Meanwhile, the neighbours continue to try to find ways to pressure the city and the federal water department to fix the canal.  We appreciate you being co-labourers with us in the work of the Lord where we live.

With love in Christ,

Ricky & Erika
