We were commended to the grace of God in July 2017 by the Moneyrea and Dunmurry Assemblies in Northern Ireland and Nantgarw Gospel Hall in Wales. We are involved in the operation of a small printing press, producing hymnbooks, tracts, gospel texts, and Spanish books for Believers gathering in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ in Peru. Our primary task is to publicly preach the Gospel, distribute literature, and visit the city of Lima. We are also engaged in distributing New Testaments and pioneering the Gospel in the Rimac Valley area and other parts of central Peru. It is our great privilege to serve the Lord in the vast land of Peru. It is truly a stronghold of the enemy, filled with witchcraft and evil. Assembly testimony has had a troubled history here, with many assemblies being overwhelmed by Pentecostalism and are no longer recognizable from a Scriptural perspective. We believe it is best to concentrate our efforts on areas where little or no work is being done, and God has called us to pioneer the Gospel in the impoverished, outlying shanty towns of Lima.
Our first three years were tough, as we learned the language and became accustomed to a new culture. The Lord graciously led us through those years and proved to be our never-failing rock and hiding place. We began a work in the north of Lima, but the area became too dangerous to continue in, owing to threats from gangs.
The COVID pandemic opened up several new doors for us, allowing us to visit some of the poorest communities and soup kitchens located in the high shanty areas on the outskirts of Lima. We found many children living in extreme poverty. Their parents were very happy to allow us to teach them the Scriptures, and from this, several childrens works have commenced. We now have over 400 children across our various works, as well as a large number of adults.

We visit six different locations across the city each week and hold childrens meetings, as well as Gospel meetings. Some of the meetings are held locally where we live.
Others are held on the south side of the city in an area called San Juan de Miraflores. These areas are El Cinco, Jicamarca, Alto Priale, Pamplona Alta, Las Violetas and Muruhuay. We produce tracts and literature, and have recently launched a free Bible offer throughout the city. It is a great joy to work in the large markets distributing tracts. There is no assembly currently in Lima, and our nearest assembly is located 5 hours north in Huaral or 18 hours north in Piura. The work is slow but encouraging. We would value prayer for the following:
Those who hear the Gospel each week, especially those who are young. Their only hope to be rescued from a live of misery is God´s salvation.
That we might be preserved in a city filled with crime and danger.
That those who are genuinely saved might go on to live for the glory of God.
