I am going to write to you about how the Lord allowed us to see the first assembly formed in Cartagena, then the second assembly in Valledupar, 10 hours away, andcurrently, we are in Santa Marta, working and praying to the Lord, hoping in His will to see a new assembly.
On December 28, 2012, in Venezuela, we were entrusted with the work of the Lord. The Lord led us, and we came to Cartagena, Colombia. Arriving without being known and without knowing anyone, we began to introduce ourselves to the neighbors and to preach the holy and blessed Gospel for many continuous months. We also started a Bible class and maintain a constant focus on the Gospel. Some professed faith in the Lord until December 2015, when, for the first time, we met to celebrate the Lord's supper.
With Brother Exel Jácome's arrival in Valledupar, we worked in that city for three years, seeing souls saved. Then, in December 2018, the assembly was formed by the grace of the Lord.
Working on land preparation to set up a tent for preaching, then meeting inside the tent.A year ago, our beloved Brother Exel (a Colombian national) was commended to work full-time. We have been living in Santa Marta for two years now and have preached in different neighborhoods of the city. Some have professed. We have two Bible classes. We still do not have a location. We congregate in rented places. Please pray for Santa Marta.
