Report of Western Ukraine

We went to an Army Base to see if we could meet with the soldiers and give them Bibles. This took some time as they wanted us to write a letter about who we are, stamp it, and send it to their office to see if they would receive us. We had another 100 bags made with Matt.

11:28 embroidered on them ... they are black with red letters. Then we went to pick up tracts that we had printed here. I also ordered nine big vinyl song sheets last week to be able to sing with the children at schools and other places.

We returned with the letter requesting to hand out the Bibles at the Army Base. They will call us to tell us when it is decided if we can give the bags and Bibles to the soldiers. Igor's wife wrote the letter and stamped it with the stamp we had made up for the Missionary work here in Ukraine.

We also prepared bags with a Bible in them tracts, a pen, and chocolate bar to go to the hospital and visit mothers and their new babies. We distributed boxes of clothing and the school material at a school through another contact Peter. He allowed us to speak to about 150 people plus 50 children and we used the two roads chart. It was a great privilege.

It was amazing just how it all worked out, as his boxes of clothing were to be given out for Christmas, but they were very late in getting here, and so we gave them out for Easter instead. The boxes came from somewhere in Canada, and Peter was happy to say that we were from Canada also. We helped him distribute the content of the boxes to the children first and then to the adults. He said he was wondering how he was going to do it all by himself and God was so kind to send us to help him.

Then we gave him what we had for him twenty New Bibles and lots of extra literature. He was so thankful for all.
