Steve and Heidi were commended by the Chapman Valley Gospel Hall in Ontario, Canada, for the work of the Lord with the Native people in Northern Canada.
Life in Pond Inlet continues to be filled with opportunities to share the Good News. We host many children and teens for a meal, singing, and Bible teaching several times weekly. Steve preaches the gospel on the local radio station on Sunday and Wednesday nights with positive feedback. God brings people worldwide into our lives during the summer months via personal sailboats passing through Pond Inlet on their way to the Northwest Passage. We offer showers, laundry, meals, and transportation for errands, which are gladly accepted. The gospel message is shared, and we pray for each one God has brought along.
In October, Steve visited every home with gospel literature in two other Nunavut communities (Arctic Bay and Resolute Bay). Several good conversations took place. Heidi had a mastectomy on February 16 and was given the “cancer-free” declaration at her 6-month follow-up.
We were together as a family for Christmas in Burk’s Falls, a special gift. Our hearts are lifted in expectancy for the rapture and to see our Saviour face to face. May we be found faithful when He returns
