Many thanks for your prayers over the past months. God is answering. I am making slow but steady progress.

I can now lift my legs from the floor up onto the bed! My right leg, which didn’t respond to the therapy, is now doing well. When I walk, it is the foot that leads the way! I haven’t added too many more steps using the walker. My energy seems to disappear rather quickly, and I am happy to get up on the bed. I am having physical therapy four times a week, and the therapist is pleased with my progress. I thank the Lord that I have been able to maintain a positive attitude, which they all recognize as a help.
I can´t be on my own. Diana Clark was here for the first 2 months, helping in whatever way. Since then, I have had two friends from here. The good news for next week is that Wendell and Donna Hart from Phoenix are coming to help. Three young ladies from Ateos, the community where we have worked for the past years, still cover the nights and help in different areas. They are a real blessing. It is so encouraging to see how the Lord is working in their lives and their willingness to be here to help with whatever is needed. We often smile as we realize how life has taken a turn for the better for us all. One is studying nursing. She says that she has learned more during the weeks she helped me when I was in the hospital, and now she helps me here!
I continue to have amazing visitors. They come from all over the country. Two young ladies from the east of the country left home at 4:30 am to come to see me. What a beautiful visit we had. Early afternoon, they went, hoping to get home before it was too late, when the buses would stop. All these touch your heart, believe me. The guard at the gate says he has never seen so many people and so much food going to one apartment!

I do appreciate that the Bible classes continue in Ateos on Saturday mornings. This week, they are giving out small bags of groceries to each child. Two of the young ladies have taken on full responsibility for this. I am also pleased that our ladies' prayer group on Zoom has been able to continue. I am now able to connect. Thank you once again for your prayers. May the Lord bless you.
