Over the last year, with the Lord’s help, I have held ministry meetings in 52 assemblies, and we pray that the saints who gathered have been edified and strengthened spiritually. Spending significant time in the North has meant regular visits to many local assemblies in the city and County of Suceava. It has been encouraging to see large numbers of keen young people in the meetings. Increasingly, elders in various local assemblies are requesting specific subjects to be taught.
Bible Teaching: In addition to these meetings, intensive systematic Bible studies have recommenced. Monthly studies on 1 Thessalonians in Bacău continue for believers from assemblies in the city and County of Bacău. The monthly Saturday (4 hours) Bible studies, a detailed overview of the Old Testament, in Alexandria, County of Teleorman, saw very good interest. Last Saturday (3 hours), similar monthly studies (a detailed overview of the New Testament) commenced with the Craiova Assembly. Also, two evenings each month (2 hours) are spent conducting studies for believers from assemblies in the Counties of Giurgiu and Teleorman in Pietrișu.
It is encouraging to teach and guide a younger generation of believers whose parents were in Bible study groups in the 1990s/2000s. Their sharp minds and keen interest keep us on our toes. Maintaining contact with younger men from different backgrounds has been beneficial. Some are developing as Bible teachers and continue to be guided by elders in local assemblies. They have many questions, and it is a privilege to discuss the Scriptures with them and in the homes of many other Christian families.
We pray that assemblies may continue to be built up and strengthened for His glory and that souls will be saved. We are grateful for what the Lord has done through so many believers over many years.
