Earlier in the year, a keen young local Believer was eager to have the Word of God
taught systematically to his peers and anyone else who was interested. As a result,
we initiated a monthly Bible teaching event at a local hotel, focusing on the life of Abra-
ham. We now have 20-30 young adults attending, which is an exciting new opportu-
nity to introduce many to a deeper understanding of the Bible. The aim is not only to
teach them but also to create a deeper appetite for the Word of God.
In early summer, we had the joy of baptising Caleb at one of the local beaches. He had been attending our Beginners Bible Group for several months and expressed his desire
to know the Lord and seek to follow Him.
Please pray for his strengthening and in the things of the Lord, and for help as we seek to disciple him. It has also been encouraging to have two new families about to join us recently in the assembly.
We are thankful that Logos School is operating at nearly full capacity for primary and secondary pupils, with over 300 in attendance. This presents multiple daily opportunities for sharing the gospel with pupils, who come from an incredible array of cultural and social backgrounds.Pray particularly for the recently revamped 'after-school program' for the secondary school pupils.
In late November, we will be taking the three most senior years for a weekend retreat in the mountains. Pray that as they are taught the Word and have the opportunity to talk with teachers, the Lord would work in salvation and sanctification.
