Kyle & Allison Wilson

In early January we headed to Panama to help Marcos & Sarah Sequera (commended from Venezuela) in the little assembly that they have planted in the north of the country. It is situated in a remote area outside of a large city called David. We were able to help out with a month of gospel meetings in three different locations, along with two weeks of children's meetings during the week. We were driving extensively to pick people up for the meetings and often we would leave the house at 4:00 p.m. and not arrive home until 10:00 p.m. It was an encouraging time and we trust that fruit will be seen in the months to come. We were also able to visit Byrne & Lois Foreshew for a weekend and spend a Sunday with the only other assembly that exists in Panama. It was encouraging to see a good number out, both Saturday and Sunday, to hear the gospel.

Leaving Panama on the 14th of February, we arrived back in Nicaragua with three young men who had come down to help us in the work. We continue to have an exercise to open our house, giving an opportunity to young people who have a desire to help out in the work and experience the work of God outside of North America. It has been a big help in handing out tracts, door-to-door work and invitations to the hall. We have been looking to make contacts in areas a little farther from the hall and have been able to distribute literature in new areas. We are really looking for the Lord to open up new doors.

In late February we celebrated the fourth anniversary of the assembly being planted here in El Valle. The assembly still demands much of our time with the need for teaching and visitations. There is a big group of believers who still are not in assembly fellowship but are slowly progressing along. There is a big need for commitment and conviction and we would love to see some middle-aged men raised up who would be able to begin leading the assembly.

In the months to come, our lives will be drastically changing with the birth of our first child. We are excited at the prospect of being parents although we are entering into uncharted territory. We plan to have the baby in Nicaragua and are thankful that, up to this point, Allison has had good health and no complications.

We are so thankful to the Lord for His faithfulness towards us. We would kindly point out matters for prayer and would appreciate that you remember us before the Lord:

Darwin: who was diagnosed with cancer over a year ago and, after two surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy, has been cleared medically.

Local Leadership: to be raised up in the assembly in El Valle.
