We were commended to Mexico in 2018 by the assembly in Merida, Venezuela. We ar- rived in Cancun in October 2018. We have two children, Samuel (11) & Salomé (6).

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain..” Ps.127:1 The psalmist chooses four daily activities to illustrate the theme: building a house, defending, working, and building a family. They all apply to an assembly and the work of the Lord.

In the time of Nehemiah, those who built the wall, those who carried it, and those who they carried, with one hand they worked on the work and in the other they had the sword Neh.4:17, each one fulfilling his function, desiring to see the wall finished. There were enemies who mocked, but they depended on a powerful and beneficent hand. The Hand of God helped, and they were able to finish the wall in 52 days. This tells us God is indispensable to build the house, otherwise everything would be in vain.

At the end of May, we had a Gospel series for two weeks and were encouraged by the attendance of several unconverted people and the joy of hearing of two

people accepting Christ.

We also had the baptisms of the Maqueo family (Dr.) Daniel, his wife Alondra, and his daughters (twins) Daniela and Alondra). They were reading their Bible in the first letter of John and could understand that the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin. His wife and his daughters were saved first and a year later Dr. Daniel was saved. Having understood the doctrine, this Sunday they will be received into fellowship.

On June 24 the Assembly began a series of daily Bible studies in the first letter to

Timothy. it is a great joy to see the new believers who have been added to the fellowship making comments and asking questions.

We appreciate the prayers for the Cancún assembly and the work of the Lord in the rest of the country. Pray that the Lord may open new doors for the gospel.
